Copywriter, Real estate brochures & Dubai

Once, I accidentally bumped into a copywriter in Dubai. I was searching for a leather cover for my then new P990i and was about to give up the quest. (They say you will get anything in UAE, then why duck eggs are so hard to find in Dubai?) Then suddenly, I met a guy smoking in the corner and ARBACADABRA, he turns out to be a copy writer working in Dubai Media City. French beard, square glasses, 5 pairs of finger rings, WOW! An ideal copywriter!
We shared our knowledge regarding UAE advertising scenario for awhile [means he talked and I listened!] To our surprise we found out that both of us were working on some real estate brochures on that particular time. Then later, to our greater surprise found out that both of us were working on various real estate brochures for the last six months, last one year and then finally over our entire UAE copywriting career.
Surprising? Not at all. Some copywriters in Dubai spent their entire life writing real estate brochures…

Page1. About UAE
Page2. About Dubai
Page3. About Builder/Developer
Page4. Dubai Lifestyle/Waterfront Living
Page5. Amenities/Special features-like the building will rotate, building will sing, building will do ballet dancing etc.
Page 6-18. Typical layout plans
Page 19. Future Plans
Splash pictures across pages. Then as when possible do spot laminations. Use the most expensive papers. If possible print 15000 copies in the same day.
